隨著經濟增長資源消耗加劇，傳統工業區如山東、江蘇、河北等東部省份淺層資源己消耗殆盡。新的資源勘探主要集中在云貴川、西藏、新疆、青海等交通不便的區域。在這些區域中設備搬運成本遠高于施工成本，很多地方根本沒有路，要靠肩抬人扛才能上去，傳統設備重量無法降低，全液壓分體式鉆機能耗太高，所以我公司研發全鋁合金鉆機HW-160A/XY-3A，借新材料應用降低鉆機重量，節省野外作業搬運成本。

主要特點
l、箱體類主要部件材質采用壓力鑄造高強度鋁合金替換原有鋼材；在保證鉆機性能的前提下，重量為原來的1/3。
2、鉆機模塊化設計，拆分性較強，組裝快速。拆分后各部件重量約40-100kg，解決了山區搬遷作業難的難題。
3、鉆機移機結構采用高頻處理鑲層滑軌，耐磨性能提高，延長了其使用壽命。
4、復合變速機構設計。采用LGS15汽車變速箱附加副箱設計作為變速機構，高低速可切換，扭矩大，變速范圍廣，操作集中方便，適應各種鉆探工藝需求，配件通用性強。
5、鋁合金鉆機耐腐蝕，抗氧化。在野外淋雨，在有腐蝕性的作業環境中（鉀鹽礦）不生銹。
